COMPLEXES

An audio/installation piece by Hankyul Oh

'COMPLEXES' uses a psychoanalytic test, particularly the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), and 10 individuals to create an audio representation of the multiplicity of perceptions, voices, and opinions birthed and fostered through the Internet. The TAT is conducted by presenting an image from a series of appropriate images and asking the individual to tell a story from the image. The piece was installed in a room along with a 30" x 27" print of the triggering image.
