MASK

A video/installation piece by Hankyul Oh. 

'MASK' is a self-exploration of 4 different subjects through their faces, or 'masks'. Each subject was asked to feel the natural build of their faces in front of a stand-alone camera for 2 minutes, and then an audio response to their experience was recorded. Each singular video clip is paired with another and projected on opposite-facing walls within a room. Played simultaneously, the viewer is invited to join in on these intimate moments for a shared experience, similar to that of entering a stacked conversation between two people.
